The world of social media played such a ginormous role in our connection with Candice. I was first introduced to candice by a fierce female I also met on instagram and had forged a friendship with that went from liking each others comments and posts to texts and phone conversations to custom jewelry collab to her intro to candice. Pandemic hits and like almost all of us, Dana and I started discussing ways to carry on and manifest directions we suddenly had time to fully realize and go after—lightbulb went on when Candice mentioned coming to our city and we arranged to meet up—we loosely discussed a wallpaper collection collab, based on our favorite things: female form, tropical palms, bas relief and mixed media collages. We gathered inspo and discussed concepts and designed layouts for Candice to review and then add her personalized touch to bring the designs together. Dana and I feel this collection represents our design aesthetic: living fabulously; sexuality; leisure; elevated rarity.
